New fine grade Filtabrite Pads are an alternative to Crystalbrite Pads and offer effective value for the winemaker. The resultant clarities achieved from passing wine through a Filtabrite Pad are comparable to that achieved with the Crystalbrite Pad, although the flow rate will be slower. In fact slower flow rates are actually better for winemaking, as it is beneficial to maximise the time that wines are in contact with the filter
